What Scrub provides

Scrub is a local pattern-based anonymisation and restoration tool by Onur Kat. It is not legal advice, a compliance certification, a guarantee of anonymity, or a replacement for your review. You are responsible for deciding what can be shared and for checking exported documents.

Free and Pro

Free supports 2,000 characters per run, pasted text, TXT/MD, review and pasted restoration. Proposed Pro pricing is $9/month or $49/year for three devices. Pro adds DOCX/CSV, dictionaries, automatic mode, saved mappings, file restoration and reports. Purchasing and license activation are available only after product configuration. Review the checkout terms, tax and renewal information before any purchase.

File limitations

Names outside your dictionary, image text, metadata, fields and embedded content may remain identifiable. Files over 100 MB and DOCX archives expanding beyond 100 MB or 10,000 parts are rejected for safety. Unlimited text means no Pro character quota, not unlimited device memory. Keep original files and a private mapping backup.

Support and purchases

Contact [email protected] for activation, cancellation or refund assistance. Mandatory consumer rights are not restricted by these terms. Do not send license keys or private documents in public reports.

Use and ownership

You retain your documents. The software is licensed, not sold. Do not redistribute paid license keys. This service may be updated to correct errors; material changes to paid terms will be communicated through the purchase contact information.
