Do you upload or store my documents?
No. Document content stays in browser memory and is never sent to a server or saved in browser storage. Only license information is stored locally.
Can I compare a PDF against a Word document?
Yes. Use any combination of DOCX, text-based PDF, TXT, Markdown, or pasted text. PDF extraction may vary with layout; review the result before relying on it.
Does this work with scanned PDFs?
Text-based PDFs are supported. Scanned images need OCR first; Draftdiff does not perform OCR or compare image pixels.
Can I accept or reject changes in Word?
Pro exports real Word tracked changes, including paired moves. Open the DOCX in Word or LibreOffice to review, accept, or reject them.
What is outside this version?
Legacy DOC and RTF, comment comparison, image-pixel comparison, collaboration, and Google Docs integration are not included. Footnotes are compared as labelled text.
