Privacy

Short version: your documents never leave your device.

Draftdiff is a static web page. All document parsing, comparison and file generation run in JavaScript inside your browser. There is no server component that receives, stores or processes your documents. Nothing you drop onto the page is transmitted anywhere.

Network requests we do make

• Loading the page from the web host (standard access logs: IP address, user agent, time).
• License checks: when you activate a Pro license key, and about once a week afterwards, the key and a device label are sent to Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record) to confirm it is valid. No document data is included.
• Payments are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy under their privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details to deliver the license.

Local storage

Your browser stores your license record (key, device instance, validation status and dates). Document content is kept only in memory until you close or reload the page. A service worker also caches the application files, bundled fonts, and public sample contracts for offline use. It never caches your documents. Clearing site data removes these caches and your license record.

Analytics

None. No cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts.
