Common fixes
“This PDF is password-protected”
Inkmark cannot open encrypted files. Open the PDF in any viewer, print it to a new PDF, then sign that copy.
The extension does not open a PDF on my computer
Chrome blocks extensions from local files by default. Open chrome://extensions, choose Inkmark → Details, and enable “Allow access to file URLs”.
PDFs no longer open in Chrome's own viewer
“Open PDFs automatically” is switched on. Turn it off in the extension's options page; Chrome's viewer returns immediately.
A font will not write my name
Two handwriting fonts (Homemade Apple, Satisfy) lack some accented letters. Inkmark greys them out instead of dropping letters; pick any other font.
Signed PDF looks wrong in another app
Typed signatures are real text with an embedded font and drawings are vector paths, so they render in every viewer. If a form field hides your mark, re-export with “Flatten form fields” on.
Pro licenses
A Pro key works on three devices. To move it, open “Pro active” in the viewer and choose “Deactivate on this device” first. Lost keys, receipts and refunds are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy: reply to your order email or write to us with the order number. Refunds are honoured within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
Privacy
Documents and signatures never leave your device. Details are in the privacy policy; terms of use are here.
