Bank statement PDF → CSV, Excel, QBO & OFX. Without uploading anything.

Statemint reads the PDF right here in your browser, finds every transaction, checks that the opening and closing balances add up, and exports a file your accounting software accepts on the first try.

Your statements never leave this device. There is no upload, no server and no account. Open the Network tab if you like — the only request we ever make is to check a license key.

How it works

Drop the PDF

Checking, savings and credit card statements from any bank, in English, German, French or Dutch layouts. Multi-page and multi-file supported.

We find the table

Dates, descriptions, debit/credit or signed amounts, running balances and multi-line memos are detected by layout — no bank-specific templates needed.

Balances are verified

Opening balance + all transactions must equal the closing balance. Rows that break the running balance are highlighted so nothing slips through.

Export & import

Fix a description if you want, then download CSV, Excel, QBO, QFX or OFX. Dates and decimals come out exactly the way your software expects.

Export formats

Every format is generated locally. Files open directly in the target application.

Simple pricing

Competing converters charge $15–$79 per month and make you upload your statements. We don't do either.

FAQ

Is it really private?

Yes. The PDF is parsed by JavaScript running in your browser tab. We have no server that receives files, and the page works offline once loaded. The only network request is the license check against Lemon Squeezy when you activate or periodically re-verify a key.

Which banks are supported?

Statemint is layout-based rather than bank-based, so it works with most text-based PDF statements: US banks and credit cards (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Amex style layouts), UK (Barclays, HSBC, Monzo, Revolut style), Eurozone (German, Dutch, French, Swiss formats with decimal commas) and generic ISO-dated exports. If a statement parses badly, email it to us — we add a rule within days.

What about scanned statements?

Image-only PDFs need OCR, which is on our roadmap (also fully local). Today Statemint needs the PDF to contain selectable text — that's the case for statements downloaded from online banking.

Does the QBO file import into QuickBooks Desktop?

Yes. The file follows the Web Connect spec; you can set the bank ID and account number in the export options so QuickBooks matches the right account. For QuickBooks Online, the 3-column or 4-column CSV is the most reliable path.

How is the balance reconciled?

We read the opening and closing balances from the statement and check that opening + sum of transactions = closing to the cent. When the statement has a running balance column we also verify every row and flag any that don't add up, so a mis-read sign or a missed line is visible immediately.

Refunds?

If Statemint can't convert your statements, email us within 14 days for a full refund.
