Documents and signatures
Inkmark processes PDFs and creates signatures locally in your browser. We do not upload, retain or analyse your documents. Document bytes remain in memory while the signing tab is open and are not saved to browser storage.
What is stored on your device
Only when you choose “Remember this signature” does Inkmark save its typed text, vector strokes or signature image locally. The extension uses Chrome local storage; the web app uses browser local storage. You can delete saved signatures in the tray or extension settings. Preferences and license records are also stored locally. Browser data clearing removes them.
Network access
The app loads its own fonts, code and sample PDF. The extension reads the source PDF you choose to open; the website hosting that PDF receives that normal request. License activation, validation and deactivation contact Lemon Squeezy and include your license key and activation instance. Payments take place on Lemon Squeezy’s website under its privacy terms. No document or signature content is included.
Optional extension permissions
Automatic PDF opening requests website access only when you enable it. Manual opening may request access to the PDF’s origin. Disabling automatic opening restores Chrome’s PDF viewer. File URL access is controlled separately by Chrome.
No tracking
Inkmark contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry or remote AI processing. Static hosting may maintain ordinary access logs; those requests contain no document content.
